That staring at the stars was like staring backward in time, since some stars are so far away that their light takes millions of years just to reach us. That we see stars not as they look now, but as they were when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The whole concept just struck me as...amazing somehow. -- The Choice

Amazing it is, how things change along with the passage of time.
It may take a day, a month or even a year but still,
everything boils down to that second when inevitable change happens.

The incident was simple to explain and was similar to many in that a series of isolated and seemingly truthful lies somehow came together and exploded in the most horrific of ways.

How did it all come down to this, I can only wonder.
What triggers the mind to think what it does thus leading to the action we'll soon find ourselves taking, I have never understood.
One day every thing can be just right and the next day, before you know it, smash! everything falls apart.

Why were happenings in the pass possible to take place yet further down the road nothing seems possible anymore and worst still, you start questioning about the real reason why it took place in the beginning.
It's extremely disheartening that relationships, something so attainable, is able to change like the weather.
Today it may be a sunny day. But the next day, a storm arrives. and when the storm's gone, the sun comes out to play again. Then the following week, a 6.9 earthquake. And when you finally rebuilt your home and everything, a 9.8 earthquake decides to hit again and this time, decides to bring along its best buddy, the tsunami.
hah. never expect myself to survive something like that. ok. maybe i hope i'll survive. but in general, not everyone survives a sudden 9.8 magnitude earthquake and some really high tsunami. especially in Malaysia.
so if you were to be able to somehow predict the future and see all these coming, i don't believe anyone would not make any safety precautions. i mean of course in my text, i'm not really talking about life and death.
but isn't it the same? if you know something bad or unpleasant's gonna happen in the future, wouldn't you do what you have to do. or perhaps do what you think is the right thing to do at that point of time to prevent further destruction in the future?

well, I would.
and even thou a 9.8 earthquake and a really high tsunami may have been wrongly predicted and never will happen in the future, at least doing what was right at that point of time thou it may hurt, affirms the safety of the people i care. and tat's what matters most.

it's 3 in the morning and to reread wat i just wrote, i know i'm not making sense.
but i'll just post it anyway since it's been a million years since i last did.
so if you do happen to read this, just read and forget

Takes you on a roller coaster ride and having reached the most top, decide to break down and let lose, leaving you hanging in mid air for desperate help…
And it’s in times like this where nice people would come into your life and give you a hand..
While some may go all the way out just to save you, some may give up half way through and there will even people who would just stand and stare…
“lucky” enough, you’ll survive… if not.. well.. you may be disfigured and have a complete stranger starring back at you through the mirror.. not quite a big deal I suppose… you’ll get use to it eventually anyway… it’s something called habit..

Speaking of habit.. I realized I tend to “cut” my toenails with my fingers when I study…
It looks oh-so-awful… well… it’ll grow back.. it just takes time..
Like everything in life… takes time…

I define arts as.. hmm.. i dono.. it depends on my mood..

when i'm happy.. drawing, sketching.. is definitely a joy..

when i'm busy.. arts assignments are a burden.. n i don find joy anywhere.. i do it for the sake of doing it.

when i'm sad.. arts is dark.. bcz my painting would definitely be sad and down and horrible..

well.. i can't paint actually... i can only sketch... ): pfft! terrible.

It's so embarrassing to paint in class when everyone around you paints like an artist!!! ):

and that's why.. smart ppl do smart stuff..

you form group with ppl who can really paint then you'll score high for your assignments.. hehe (;

The truth is that life is full of disappointment for us.

On the other hand, we often disappoint God because of our sin.

But God doesn't want us to dwell on what could have been.

He is the God of hope and wants us to focus on what can be.

That's why he sent his Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for your disappointing behaviour so that you can stand before him as more than good enough. You are actually holy in his eyes.

The next time you feel disappointed, remember everything God has done for you.

Use this time to grow, and take comfort that you have the approval of the only one who really matters.

Back from nature, back to reality.

Of all the unwillingness and reluctance..

I'm glad JTC paid off (:

Thou the first two days were kinda torturing in a sense that I was failing quite miserably in patrol spirit building and all the equipment building not forgetting fire building *faints ):

In addition with getting last in the patrol fun time thingy which totally pulls the patrol spirit down to a negative low level...

But am glad the third day was a little better...

and even thou our patrol is obviously not the best among the 4 girls patrol...

I'm still very grateful to be in the penyu patrol (:

and even if I'm given the chance, I wouldn't wanna change or trade anyone for anyone else (:

andddd of course... the papa penyu too (;

who! did ALOT for us compared to cmdr ky! whom i appreciate alot! (:

all in all... I still miss the dutch ovens ):
